The Sullivan County Commissioners are seeking applicants for the position of Sullivan County Planner. Applicant shall possess a general knowledge of planning principles and practices and possess the ability to effectively communicate with developers, engineers, public officials and the general public. Duties include, but are not limited to,
preparation of subdivision and land development plans, all phases of grant application preparation and administration of various federal and state grant programs for which monies are used for infrastructure such as municipal water and sewer upgrades and county bridges.
A Bachelor's degree in Planning, or an equivalent combination of
experience and training that provides the required knowledge,
experience and ability to perform the required tasks is required.
Estimated pay range $45,000 - $55,000 annually based on
